Terms and Conditions

Intro

These terms and conditions set out the basis on which Good Evening Food Ltd will provide services to you and anyone you book or place an order for batch cooking, a cookery class or a supper club. By booking/ordering batch cooking, cooking classes and supper clubs or catering with Good Evening Food Ltd you agree to accept these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and anyone else you make a booking for. You shall ensure that anyone else is provided with a copy of these terms and conditions.

 

Services

Batch Cooking, Cooking class, Supper Club and Catering engagement Terms and Conditions:

 

Good Evening Food Ltd agrees to provide batch cooking, cookery classes, Supper Clubs and Catering engagements with reasonable care and skill.

 

You are responsible for ensuring that the details you submit are correct and up to date. In particular, you must inform us of any food allergies or dietary requirements. You must notify us of any changes to your details. Where you are booking for someone else you will be responsible for confirming that the allergy and food requirements information is correct.

 

You must be at least 15 years old to attend one of our in person cookery classes or supper clubs unless attending with an adult. By submitting a booking form, you warrant that at the time of the event you, and anyone else you are booking for, will be 15 years old or over.

 

Classes and supper clubs may include alcoholic beverages (bring your own). Good Evening Food Ltd reserves the right to ask for proof of age. If proof of legal drinking age is not available, no alcohol will be served, but a selection of soft drinks may be. You may be refused admission if we suspect that you are under the influence of too much alcohol or an illicit substance, are ill with a communicable disease or are engaging in inappropriate behaviour. No refunds or rescheduling offered in those circumstances.

 

Whilst we will endeavour to provide batch cooking, cookery classes, supper clubs and catering events in accordance with our promotional materials, we reserve the right to make variations to the dishes. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects or limits your statutory rights. The contract between you and Good Evening Food Ltd is governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

What’s included for in person cooking classes – We will provide the ingredients, utensils, knives, equipment and aprons for all classes.

 

Dietary requirements

 

We cannot guarantee at any stage that any product labelled nut free, gluten free, dairy free etc will not contain trace elements as all food is prepared in a non nut, non gluten, non dairy free environment. Similarly all products stated vegan or vegetarian are not guaranteed not to contain trace elements of meat or dairy for the same reason.

 

Allergens

 

The information provided on our website should not be considered as any form of guarantee but as a best faith effort to provide you with information on our dishes. You should use this information to help assess your own level of risk, based on your own personal circumstances before eating any of our dishes. 

 

If you are providing our food to staff, clients or other guests please make sure they have access to our website so they can make an informed decision. All items have been clearly marked using an abbreviated three letter code under the food item description. The key can be found below. As food allergens are present in our production kitchen, we cannot guarantee any item will be completely free from a particular allergen.

Health and safety (in person cooking classes)

 

All participants should wear shoes with flat soles and covered toes. We are not liable for any damage which occurs to clothing. Long hair must be tied back in the kitchen. All participants will receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing the class. You agree to adhere to the health and safety requirements; obey any instructions given to you by your tutor; maintain a reasonable standard of cleanliness; and maintain a reasonable standard of safe behaviour.

 

If you have recently been unwell and experienced vomiting or diarrhoea; you must not attend the Cookery class unless you have been clear of symptoms for at least 48 hours prior to commencement of your class. If you are unable to attend due to illness, then you must contact Good Evening Food Ltd before the scheduled start time to cancel your place, and we will offer you a transfer to a future class at no cost to you.

 

If we fail to provide services in accordance with these terms and conditions Good Evening Food Ltd will only be responsible to you for damage you suffer which is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract. We shall not have any liability to you for accidental damage or injury resulting from the actions or omissions of anyone attending the class (except where this arises from the negligence of Good Evening food Ltd); any loss of income or revenue, loss of profits or contracts; or any damages or losses that you may suffer as a result of our breach of contract or negligence which are not foreseeable.

 

This does not exclude or limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude our liability which if you are a consumer only, shall include our failure to provide services with reasonable skill and care.

 

Zoom cookery classes are not priced per person but by per household.

 

Payment

 

Bookings and orders are not confirmed until paid. All bookings and gift vouchers are non- refundable. If you are unable to attend a class or supper club you are free to send someone else in your place for the same class or supper club that you booked for, please let us know who will be replacing you.

 

Unused Good Evening gift vouchers expire after 6 months of issue date.

 

If Good Evening has to cancel a cookery class, supper club or catering event for unforeseen reasons, we will notify all attendees immediately and you will receive a full refund.
